PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare hydrophobic magnetic grains which have excellent efficiency of treating a capture material for removing environmental disrupters, can capture a large quantity of environmental disrupters, separate them, and are reutilized for the capture of environmental disrupters. SOLUTION: The surface of a magnetic grain M is provided with a hydrophobic group W. The magnetic grain M consists of at least one selected from a magnetic metallic fine grain, a magnetic metallic oxide fine grain and iron sand. The hydrophobic group W consists of at least one selected from a 3 to 30C straight chain alkyl group, a 3 to 30C aromatic hydrocarbon group, an azobenzene derivative group, an alkylazobenzene group, phenyl group, an alkylphenyl group, cyano group, a cyclodextrin derivative group and a fullerene derivative group.
