ADHERING METHOD FOR FLEXIBLE JOINT TO MANHOLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for strongly and definitely adhering a large- diameter cylindrical portion of a flexible joint to a drilled hole made in the manhole. SOLUTION: A large-diameter cylindrical portion provided at one end of a joint main body is adhered to a drilled hole made in the manhole and a connecting pipe is inserted to a small-diameter cylindrical portion provided at the other end for adhering for the flexible joint, an adhesive is coated to the outer periphery of the large-diameter cylindrical portion of the joint main body and also to a jointing surface of the inner periphery of the drilled hole, the large-diameter cylindrical portion is made to a larger diameter by an enlarging ring and the outer periphery is tightly contacted to the drilled hole and the enlarging ring is removed after the adhesive is hardened.
