PURPOSE: A thin organic electroluminescence panel and passivation method therefor is provided to obtain a panel having a compact structure, while reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A thin organic electroluminescence panel comprises an organic electroluminescence panel having an organic electroluminescence element protruded from the upper surface of a substrate(50); an absorbent(55) attached to the protruded electroluminescence element; and an epoxy resin(54) encapsulating the absorbent and tightly contacting the peripheral area of the organic electroluminescence panel where the absorbent is attached. The epoxy resin and the absorbent tightly contact with each other at the organic electroluminescence panel, to thereby allow passivation of the panel. A passivation method for thin organic electroluminescence panel, comprises a first step of preparing a first chamber for receiving an organic electroluminescence panel; a second step of preparing a second chamber connected to the first chamber through a nozzle; a third step of feeding the organic electroluminescence panel to the first chamber; a fourth step of attaching the absorbent to the organic electroluminescence panel by the pressure difference between first and second chambers; a fifth step of depositing an encapsulating agent to the organic electroluminescence panel; and encapsulating the organic electroluminescence panel through a spin coating process.
