PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome such problems that in a rice transplanter with a fertilizer applicator for carrying out fertilizing and rice planting operations at the same time, a rice transplanter with a fertilizer applicator in which the fertilizer applicator is arranged at a position ahead of a seedling planting part and behind an operating seat is known, however, a rice transplanter of such a conventional technique can not shorten an interval between the seedling planting part and the operating seat in longitudinal direction consequently, the overall length of machine body is lengthened and seedlings are not readily supplied to a seedling placing tank. SOLUTION: This seedling planting machine with a fertilizer applicator is characterized by having the following constitution. A liftable seedling planting part is arranged at the rear part of a rice planting machine body and behind an operating seat 9. Fertilizer storage hoppers 14 of fertilizer applicators for spraying fertilizer on a field are arranged separately right and left at the front of the seedling planting part. The front ends of the right and left fertilizer storage hoppers 14 and 14 are ahead of the rear end of the operating seat 9 and the inside ends in the right and left directions of the fertilizer storage hoppers are installed at positions inside the outside ends in the right and left directions of the operating seat.
