PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microwave oscillator, capable of realizing satisfactory compensation by reducing power consumption of the entire microwave oscillator, with respect to changes in the oscillation frequency. SOLUTION: A reference voltage is divided by a voltage dividing circuit 13, by utilizing temperature characteristics of a thermistor 14, the terminal voltage of the thermistor 14 of the circuit 13 is offset as a main coil reference voltage, and the drive current of a main coil 2 is controlled and changed in the direction of canceling the temperature characteristics of the oscillation frequency of a YIG(Yttrium-Iron-Garnet), thereby making the oscillation frequency of the microwave oscillator to be constant, regardless of the temperature.
