The invention relates to a method for the robot-controlled cutting of workpieces (1, 2) to be assembled by means of laser radiation (11). Said laser radiation is focussed on a first workpiece (1), the cut contour thereof being mounted with a second workpiece (2) and joined thereto. The inventive method is characterised in that, during the cutting of the contour (7) of the first workpiece (1), the distance (azp) between the focal point (TCP) and the second workpiece (2) is determined in a repeated manner in a distance direction (z) which is oriented in the same way during the cutting and is regulated to a direction (g) of assembly of the two workpieces (1,2), and in that the distance (azB) between a machining point (B) and the second workpiece (2) is kept constant during the cutting. |
