PURPOSE: A voice/data integrated access device is provided to connect a telephone to a data line or a voice line, depending on whether power is on by using an electrically-operated relay, thereby normally using many Internet phones connected to an IAD. CONSTITUTION: A splitter(100) separates an Internet protocol data packet from a voice signal. A central office telephone(TP) connected to an analog POTS channel of the splitter(100) receives the separated voice signal. An IAD(200) connects a data line of the splitter(100), a voice line(VL) of the TP, and many Internet phones(IP) through a relay, and connects the Internet phones(IP) with the voice line(VL) of the TP, depending on whether power is on. The IAD(200) inputs the Internet protocol data packet to convert the packet into a voice signal, or converts the voice signal inputted through the Internet phones(IP) into an Internet protocol data packet to output the packet through a data network.
