PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cellular phone terminal apparatus which need not be carried directly with a human body and realizes a newly intended operation without a special key operation. SOLUTION: The cellular phone 11 is provided with an acceleration sensor 18. When an operator swings the apparatus body a specified number of times, a control part 21 detects it, and when a wireless part 22 is in a receiving condition, it stops sound generation by switching from receiving sound ringing from a speaker 16 to vibration of a vibrator 27. When the apparatus body is opened, not folded, an open/close detecting circuit 26 detects it, and lights a back light 25 to light a display part 13 or the like. Therefore in the former case noise nuisance is prevented, while in the latter case operating the cellular terminal apparatus of the cellular phone 11 or the like becomes easier even in the dark place.
