PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a strobe from making full emission, when a photographing distance is short, or when the reflectance of a subject is high to lessen overexposure. SOLUTION: Strobe light reflected on a subject is received by a phototransistor 16, and a quantity of the light received is integrated by an integrating capacitor 42a. A capacitor 44 for turning-on is charged by a voltage generated interlocking with the beginning of strobe emission and at the same time, is charged by supplying a part of a light current from the phototransistor 16 via a diode 46. When the integrating capacitor 42a reaches prescribed charge voltage, the capacitor 44 for turning-on discharges to make a thyristor 45 turned-on. |
