PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise intermediary business, in which members can easily handle merchandise information transmission and confidentiality among competitors is also facilitated. SOLUTION: A business entity performing merchandise intermediary business holds a matching place 21, having a center agent 22 and a database 23 for matching and makes dedicated agents 13 and 14 reside at terminals 11 and 12 of a retail shop and wholesalers who are its members. When the agents 13 and 14 transfer merchandise purchase information or merchandise sales information, the center agent 22 retrieves the database 23 for matching, and transfers the purport of finding merchandise, merchandise name, standard and transaction conditions to the agents 13 and 14 who have transferred the information, if the merchandise matching the conditions is found. After that, if merchandise transaction is estimated to be established, customer information to specify the opposite partner is transferred through the agents. Secrecy among competitors can be maintained to facilitate, handling of transmission of information from the members. Members' confidence in the system is also improved. |
