CLEANING MACHINE FOR BALLAST IN TRACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a special cleaning machine which implements specially high cleaning performance by using two cleaning chains. SOLUTION: The cleaning machine 1 for ballast includes a machine frame 5, and two cleaning chains 7, 8 subsequently arranged along a longitudinal direction of the machine between track bogies 4 for digging the ballast 10 again. The machine comprises a first conveyor device 20 at a location between the front first cleaning chain 7 and a front first sifting device 23. For cleaning, the ballast dug again by the second cleaning chain 8 is conveyed via a second conveyor device 25 to a second sifting device 30 arranged at a rear end of the machine.
