PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 6000 series aluminum alloy joint, especially of excess Si type, for preventing bottom of the lateral part from cracking. SOLUTION: The weld joint is manufactured by means of welding a 6000 series aluminum alloy base-metal with a filler metal of aluminum alloy, and has a lateral part around the welded part. The above aluminum alloy base metal and the aluminum alloy filler metal are characterized by substantially not having an exothermic peak for the base metal at proximity of 530 deg.C, and an exothermic peak for the filler metal at 550 deg.C or less, in a cooling curve for each molten metal, which is obtained by means of measuring a thermal change in a solidification process of each metal with a differential thermal analysis.
