PURPOSE: A vibration motor is provided to achieve improved operating characteristics of a motor by removing unnecessary air gaps and minimizing magnetic field leakage, while significantly reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A vibration motor comprises a cylindrical case(11) having an inner periphery on which a magnet(12) is fixed; a cylindrical core(20) arranged inside the magnet, and which has a shaft hole formed in a vertical direction; a shaft(14) accommodated into the shaft hole formed at the core, and supported by the case in such a manner that the shaft is rotatable, wherein the shaft has a weight(w) coupled at an end of the shaft so as to induce an eccentricity; and an electromagnetic force generator(30) constituted by a sheet coil attached to the outer circumferential surface of the core, and which generates an electromagnetic force through the cooperation with the magnet having an air gap.
