摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite positive electrode for lithium polymer batteries, capable of providing a small-sized and lightweight lithium polymer battery having a large charging/ discharging capacity and a lithium polymer battery, using the same positive electrode. SOLUTION: This composite positive electrode comprises a polymer solid electrolyte, a manganese oxide as a positive electrode active material, and conductive particles; and the solid electrolyte is made, by dissolving a lithium salt as an electrolytic salt in a copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of one million or larger and comprising ethylene oxide and a glycidyl ether, having side chains of ethylene oxide units of polymerization degree of 1 to 12, or in a copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 1 million or larger and comprising an ethylene oxide, a glycigyl ether having side chains of ethylene oxide units of polymerization degree of 1 to 12, and an aryl glycidyl ether. Further, more a composite positive electrode is provided by adding a polyethylene glycol, having a weight- average molecular weight in the range of 500 to 2,000 to this positive electrode. Or composite positive electrodes are provided, by making the polymer solid electrolyte cross-linked in these positive electrodes. The provided lithium polymer battery comprises are of the positive electrodes and a negative electrode made of metal lithium or a lithium metallic alloy.
