PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin care preparation having excellent and stable viscosity, providing comfortableness obtained by a new sense of use, a new value such as information of sign, etc., of completion of massage action obtained by following change in sense and having excellent amelioration and prevention effects on various diseases followed by keratinization abnormality, such as contact dermatitis, psoriasis, pemphigus vulgaris, congential chicken pox, etc., and chapped skin caused by drying, detergent, etc., and to provide a method for beautification using the skin care preparation. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation comprises one or more kinds of polymer thickeners and one or more kinds of splitting enzymes for the polymers with the condition that the enzymes stably exist in the formulation prescription and do not hydrolyze the polymer thickeners in the preparation prescription. The skin care preparation is characterized in that the external preparation comprises a first preparation containing one or more kinds of the polymer thickeners and a second preparation containing one or more kinds of the polymer splitting enzymes and the first preparation is formulated with the second preparation when used. This method for beautification comprises using the skin care preparation.
