<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make changeable the kind of a parameter and the increasing and decreasing method of a parameter value according to the designation by a user in an image processing method and apparatus therefor for setting an image processing parameter by the moving operation of a pointing device. SOLUTION: Parameter control information constituted of the kind of an image processing parameter and the increasing or decreasing method of the value of the image processing parameter corresponding to the operating direction of a pointing device 11 is preliminarily designated by a designating means 12, and the parameter control information is stored in a storage means 13. At operating the image processing, the parameter control information is read by a parameter value setting means 14, and the value of the image processing parameter is set according to the moving operation of the point device 11 based on the parameter control information, and the image processing is executed based on the set value of the image processing parameter by an image processing means 15, and the processed image is outputted to a display device 20.</p> |
