PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for earthquake damage estimating method or the like capable of independently, carefully and easily determining the degree of structure damage in an earthquake according to the earthquake proof performance of each structure. An actual data point having these as each orthogonal coordinate is plotted on a normalized coordinate plane, and the degree of structure damage in the application of the actual seismic waveform to the actual structure is estimated on the basis of the relation between the degree-of-structure damage function curve and the actual data point.
