The locking unit (7) can be slid along the top of the outer surface of the handle (3) which is provided with two pins (10, 11) moving horizontally along two longitudinal slots (8, 9) located at the unit (7). When the unit (7) is moved towards the front a semi-circular extension (13) at its lower side is pushed against an extension (14) located at the upper end of the blade (2) causing the blade (2) to rotate around a bolt (5) while a third pin (17) is guided along a semi-circular slot (18) integrated in the inner surface of one of the shells (4) forming the handle (3) in order to fold the blade (2) into a resting position. When the locking unit (7) is pulled back against the forces of a helical spring (12) fixed inside the rear slot (9) the extension at the blade (14) engages with the extension located at the locking unit (13).
