SOUNDPROOF MATERIAL FOR OUTDOOR UNIT OF AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a soundproof material having both sound-absorbing performance and sound insulation properties and further having easy recyclability while having a performance equivalent to that of a conventional soundproof material or better performance by using the same type of a material. SOLUTION: The soundproof material uses a felt having a high density of 150 to 2,000 kg/m<3> instead of a conventional sound insulation material such as a rubber or an asphalt sound insulation material and laminates and integrates a low density felt having a density of 10 to 150 kg/m<3> on and with the felt of the high density. The soundproof material further has a 3-layer structure obtained by laminating and integrating a low density felt on and with the outside of the high density felt.
