PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft mechanism for an electronic instrument loaded on a vehicle and an electronic instrument loaded on a vehicle having the mechanism requiring no removing/carrying of a predetermined member from an electronic instrument body and capable of preventing a removal of the electronic instrument by other persons in the mounted state in a cabin. SOLUTION: In the anti-theft mechanism of the electronic instrument 3 loaded on the vehicle detachable from a predetermined position in the cabin, a predetermined prevention of crime registration operation is carried out in the state that the electronic instrument 3 loaded on the vehicle is mounted to a predetermined position. Thereby, incorrect taking out operation protection members 6, 6 making attachment/detachment part 42, 42 for attaching/detaching the electronic instrument 3 loaded on the vehicle unoperatable is operated by a driving force of a driving source 32. Thereby, the electronic instrument 3 loaded on the vehicle cannot be removed from the predetermined position in the cabin.
