PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure desired duty about a clock output and also to start from a prescribed state at an initial oscillation stage about a clock generator circuit. SOLUTION: CMOS inverters 20 and 22 to which an oscillation output by a crystal resonator 14 is inputted are provided. A rectifier circuit consisting of a transistor Q4 to which the oscillation output is inputted, a capacitor C3 and a resistor R5, a comparator 26 for comparing the output of the rectifier circuit with a reference voltage, and a p type transistor M1 for changing states of the CMOS inverter 22 in accordance with the output of the comparator 26 are also provided. The connection point between the drain of a p type transistor M5 of the CMOS inverter 22 and the drain of an n type transistor M3 is made as an output terminal OUT.
