摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell which is capable of restraining an electrode provided on the surface of a sunlight receiving surface from increasing in contact resistance even when it is used in the state of condensing sunlight. SOLUTION: A solar cell 26 is equipped with a main body of semiconductor. The main body is provided with an impurity high-concentration region 36 which is located just under a comb-like electrode 30 and has an impurity concentration of Nc, and Nc is so set as to satisfy a formula, 1&times;10<22> /cm<3> >Nc1&times;10<17> &times;c&times;r/ cm<3> , wherein (c) denotes the magnifying power of a sunlight receiving surface 28 for condensing light, and (r) denotes the area ratio of an electrode to an opening in a sunlight receiving surface. Therefore, the comb-like electrode 30 is restrained from increasing in contact resistance on the sunlight receiving surface 28 independently of an increase in the magnifying power (c), so that the solar cell 26 is prevented from decreasing in photovoltaic efficiency.
