The inter dental wedge (62) is of timber and/or plastic. It has a pointed triangular body, which decreases in size towards the top and is fitted into the space between two teeth. The body is arched and has a distal end (64) and a proximate end (66). An adaption notch (68) is located in the top face of the body near the proximate end to be held by a dental instrument when moving into/out of an inter dental space. A dental instrument to act with the wedge is shaped like forceps with one arm having a broad flat side, and one arm having a narrow round/square/triangular side to engage into the notch. |
