<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture absorber which prevents the occurrence of dew condensation and the growth of mold due to moisture, and a closet structure using the absorber. SOLUTION: This moisture absorber 1 is provided with an air-passable layer 3 which forms an air-passable path on at least one surface of a hygroscopic substrate layer 2 having hygroscopicity. The difference between both of the quantities of moisture absorption of the hygroscopic substrate layer 2 at temperature 20 deg.C/relative humidity 50% and temperature 20 deg.C/relative humidity 95% is made >=30 g/m<2> . The hygroscopic substrate layer 2 comprises crosslinked acrylate fiber having humidity releasing property, antibacterial property and mildew proof property. The air-passable layer 3 is made from three-dimensional mesh knit fabric. A humidity sensor for grasping the state of hygroscopicity of the hygroscopic substrate layer 2 is disposed. The closet structure is constituted in such a manner that the moisture absorber 1 is disposed between bedclothes 5 which are stored in the closet 4 and the floor surface 41 on which the bedclothes 5 are placed and the humidity of the bedclothes 5 is absorbed.</p> |
