PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a vapor-deposited plastic film excellent in the adhesiveness of a base material film and a vapor deposition layer and gas barrier properties after boiling treatment or printing. SOLUTION: The vapor-deposited plastic film is manufactured by coating at least one surface of a plastic film with a resin mixture containing an oxazoline group-containing water soluble polymer and subsequently stretching the coating film at least in one direction and further vapor-depositing a metal and/or a metal oxide on the surface of the formed coating layer.
