PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable selecting an appropriate agent corresponding to the business by supporting operators who are not familiarized with an agent system. SOLUTION: The agent system 1 makes at least one digital protection control device execute a plurality of jobs on the basis of a plurality of agents (program modules)PM1 to PMn that are movable between a plurality of digital protection control devices 2a1 to 2a3 being connected through a communication network 6. The system comprises a storage function 40 of a Web server 5 for storing the plurality of agents PM1 to PMn corresponding to the plurality of jobs, respectively, an association table processing facility 42 for storing an association table representing correspondency between the plurality of jobs and the plurality of agents PM1 to PMn, and a program module transmitting and receiving function 41 for selecting an agent corresponding to a desired job within the plurality of jobs on the basis of the stored correspondency data and sending out the selected agent according to a predetermined route through the communications network 6.
