PURPOSE: A jig for fixing an engine is provided to reduce a working time and provide a working convenience by supporting and carrying off the engine using the jig capable of carrying and moving easily. CONSTITUTION: A jig for fixing an engine comprises a supporter(4), a cross bar(6), a lifting/lowering mechanism(8), and a fixing mechanism(10). The supporter is supported at a fender panel(2) placed on both sides of an engine room. The cross bar is connected between both upper ends of the supporter and supports between the supporter. The lifting/lowering mechanism for lifting and lowering the engine is arranged at a central side of the cross bar. The fixing mechanism is connected at a lower end of the lifting/lowering and fixes the engine. The supporter comprises a bottom supporter having a guide recess, a guide rail inserted slidably into the guide rail, a first supporter and a second supporter.
