PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a light weight aggregate having low water absorption even under a pressure such as pump feeding. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of low water absorption, light weight aggregate is composed of a process of slowly cooling a baked product obtained by bake foaming a raw material of a light weight aggregate, and spraying isocyanate on the product when the surface temperature of the product reaches 120-220 deg.C.
