PURPOSE: A reinforcing method for a beam of a multi-span bridge is provided to enhance bearing power of a beam for a multi-span bridge. CONSTITUTION: The reinforcing method for a beam of a multi-span bridge comprises the steps of: forming through holes for inserting a tension member(56) and an insertion rod on each side of a bridge beam(51), installing primary and secondary reinforcing brackets(52,54) for supporting a tension member(56) and an insertion rod to each through hole and installing a saddle bracket(55) for installing a tension member(56) on the central lower part of the unit beam(51); installing a tension member(56) over the through hole of the beam(51), primary and secondary reinforcing brackets(52,54) and the saddle bracket(55) to form one closed rope as a whole; installing a fixture(57) on the tension member(56) where the unit beams(51) are connected mutually, then tensioning the tension member(56) with tensile pressure; and dismantling the mobilized equipment for tension works.
