PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an artificial marble of which the specific gravity is close to that of a resin composition and which has the most uniform devisability and the highest designability ever by a glorious material protecting considerable uniformity of pattern due to cleavage or the like, and can preserve product intensity. SOLUTION: A resin composition for manufacturing artificial marble composed by compounding additives such as a filler and a hardener to a thermosetting resin. A glorious pigment in which glass flakes are coated with a metal or a metal oxide is added to the resin composition.
