PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating melting furnace capable of preventing contamination of molten iron and suppressing the damage of a furnace body. SOLUTION: Films 20 and 21 formed of a refractory and having insulating ability are situated to fill up slits 15 and 16 along a pair of surfaces, opposite to each other; the slit 15 formed between adjoining conductive segments 8 and a slit 16 formed in the conductive segment 8. Similarly, a film 25 to fill up a gap along a pair of surfaces is situated on a pair of the surfaces opposed to each other in the gap between the conductive segment 8 and the bottom member 2.
