PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whisker-shaped aluminosilicate particle, a filler comprising the aluminosilicate particles, and a manufacturing method for the aluminosilicate particle. SOLUTION: The whisker-shaped aluminosilicate particle having a composition represented by a formula, aM2 O.bAl2 O3 .cSiO2 .dRmAn.yH2 O [wherein, M is Na and/or K; R is one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of CO3 , SO4 , NO3 , OH, and Cl; (a) is 1-6; (b) is 2-8; (c) is 2-12; (d) is 0-4 (excluding d=0); (m) is 1-2; (n) is 1-3; and (y) is 0-32) is manufactured. The filler comprising the aluminosilicate particles is manufactured. An aluminosilicate particle is manufactured by making a silicon source react with an aluminum source in the presence of an anion source and an alkali source.
