<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an electric variable such as a voltage, a current or the like at each fixed time, convert the variable into digital data, and speed up data transmission when transmitting the data to a data processing device. SOLUTION: Digital values of the electric variable such as a voltage, a current or the like are determined in two or more ranges determined beforehand, and the data not overflowing and having the largest value are defined as a data part, and range discrimination information for discriminating the range is added thereto, to thereby generate transmission data. Hereby, the data determined in the two ranges are not always required to be transmitted, and only the data determined in a single range are transmitted, to thereby enable speed-up of the data transmission.</p> |
