PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer method for efficiently transferring data by appropriately considering the processing ability and transfer ability of both devices transferring data at the time of transferring data. SOLUTION: Data measuring the ability of a processing which a transfer source A and a transfer destination B share is processed in the transfer source A and processing time TA is measured. Then, the transfer source A transmits data to the transfer destination B through an interface. The transfer destination B processes transferred data. When the processing is terminated, it is informed to the transfer source A through the interface. The transfer source A correspondingly measures the processing time T of the transfer destination B. When processing time is faster in TB than TA, the processing ability of the transfer source is judged to be higher, and the transfer source A performs the subsequent common data processing. When the processing ability of TB is faster, the transfer destination B performs the common data processing.
