PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe running support device capable of providing not only the information indicating the presence or absence of an obstacle but also the information by an information board while taking a situation occurring in an accompanying manner after the obstacle occurs into account. SOLUTION: A road for an automobile is provided with the information board for displaying a traffic situation in a curve section making it impossible for a driver to see far ahead in a section on the upstream side in the section making it impossible for the driver to see far ahead, a sensor head provided to monitor the traffic situation in the curve section making it impossible for the driver to see far ahead, a sensor head output processing device for processing an output of the sensor head, and a road side processing device having a function for performing computation for displaying the existence of a decelerating vehicle in front of an accident vehicle when the accident vehicle occurs in the part making it impossible for the driver to see far ahead on the information board based on the results of computation of a computing means.
