PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber connection tool and a housing method of a connection member, by which connection workability is more improved than heretofore and the twist of an optical fiber is prevented. SOLUTION: A holding base 110, an optical fiber holding member 120 and a guide member 140 are provided, the optical fiber 20 is positioned at an optical fiber insertion position corresponding to the optical fiber insertion port 13a of the splice 10 of the holding base by supporting the optical fiber holding member by the guide member and the optical fiber is inserted into the connection member by moving the optical fiber holding member along the guide member. Thus, the burdens of optical fiber connection work are reduced and the connection workability is improved compared to the conventional case. Also, by the housing method preventing the twist after optical fiber connection, the damages of the optical fiber are prevented. |
