The invention relates to a fastening element for part of a trim inside a motor vehicle, which is secured between a structural part (1) of the motor vehicle and the trim part, so that the trim part is detachable, foam being arranged between the trim part and the structural part. In order to be able to reduce manufacturing costs and logistical costs due to extensive deformation work and to make said element interchangeable, the fastening element (5) itself is provided in the form of a body which is made from light metal foam, wherein at least one insert (8) is integrated, being bare on the side facing towards the trim part (15) and being detachably secured to the exposed point (9) of the trim part.
