Mordanting compsn as in 6942859 where the proportions of H3PO4, H2SO4 and water present in the solvent contg. Cr2O3 are defined by (a) the lines AL, DC and AD and the curve LC, or (b), by the lines AB and DC and the curves AD and BC, on given phase diagram. Gives improved adherence in subsequent metallisation process.
