PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with the shortage of toner even in the case a means for detecting the presence/absence of toner is not installed in a process cartridge and a developing device, and also, to increase a toner capacity. SOLUTION: The inclined angle of the inclined surface 90 of the base of a toner chamber 45 is controlled to be equal to or below an angle of repose, and an elastic member 70 is stuck on the inclined surface 90 by means of a fixing part 70b. When a stirring blade 80b is rotated, a free end 70c is bent toward a recessed part 91, next, the stirring blade 80b is separated from the free end 70c, then, the elastic member 70 is vibrated, then, the toner on the elastic member 70 is moved to the recessed part 91. The toner remains in an area Z even in such the state that an image begins thinning, so that it can cope with by the time of getting a new cartridge ready. |
