PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively producing a thermoplastic resin composition, excellent in balance of physical properties, high in concentration of filler contained, and suitable as master batch. SOLUTION: The method for producing the thermoplastic resin composition comprises knead-extruding a total of 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin of 50-10 pts.wt. and the filler of 50-90 pts.wt. that is compressed to be 0.4 or above in bulk density, in the presence of an organic peroxide of 0.008-0.2 pts.wt., using a uniaxial kneading-extruder, a biaxial kneading-extruder or a kneading- extruder having a biaxial kneading part and a uniaxial extruding part.
