The invention relates to a quantitave method for detecting the presence of some interesting analytes in a liquid medium, based on monitoring the variation of electrical properties, for example the impedance of the interface transducer (2-n)/ sample in response to the process of adsorbtion of specific groups, such as antigens, in the analyte structure. According to the invention, the method is based on the differential principle of monitoring the variation of the real component and the imaginary component of the transducer/ sample interface impedance in response to the specific coupling process analyte/transducer, the parameters of interest, namely the analyte concentration in the solution, being obtained by analyzing the afore-mentioned dynamic coupling process.
