METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING ALUMINUM ALLOY FLAT PIPE FOR USE IN BRAZING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing an aluminum alloy flat pipe for use in brazing in which brazing composition is uniformly coated on both surfaces in a superior productivity to attain a superior brazing characteristic. SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method in which a brazing composition is coated to an aluminum alloy flat pipe 11 by a roll transferring operation. An upper surface coating roll 1 for coating an upper surface of the aluminum alloy flat pipe 11 and a lower surface coating roll 3 for coating a lower surface of the aluminum alloy flat pipe 11 are installed, and the upper surface coating roll 1 and the lower surface coating roll 3 are offset only by an offset amount 7 in a longitudinal direction of the aluminum alloy flat pipe 11.
