PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in a conventional liquid transfer apparatus for transferring a liquid which is decomposed by moisture and/or oxygen by utilizing a siphon phenomenon, the liquid is exposed to the outside air, and the system of the apparatus is open to the outside air and complicated, and hence the moisture is bought into contact with the apparatus, while a simple apparatus suitable for transferring a liquid decomposable in the presence of moisture/and or oxygen has not been proposed. SOLUTION: The liquid transfer apparatus transfers a liquid from a feed tank to a receiving tank through a hose by utilizing a siphon phenomenon. The hose has a portion partitioned by two valves, and the lower part of the portion is positioned below the liquid level of the feed tank, while the partitioned portion is connected to a pressure reducing means through another valve.
