PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an investigation system where labor and time for inputting an investigation result to a host unit which totals and analyzes the investigation result are reduced. SOLUTION: Investigators input an answer from a person to be investigated to a portable telephone 1. The portable telephone 1 transmits the inputted answer of a public opinion investigation to the host unit 3 via the Internet 2 in real-time. The host unit 3 totals the answers transmitted from the portable telephones 1 as the investigation result. Thus, labor and time for inputting the investigation result to the host unit 3 is reduced.
