PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that prevents soil, which is caused by wax, without degrading fixing capability. SOLUTION: A signal concerning a type of a recording medium is transmitted from a console 120 to a controller 130. When it is determined based upon the signal that the recording medium is not OHT, an ordinary development bias is set. On the other hand, when it is determined that the recording medium is OHT, the controller 130 controls a development high voltage circuit 140 so that an OHT mode is set in order to lower a direct current component (DC component) of the development bias. |
