Preferably, the transactions handled by the shared location do not require regulatory oversight and avoid the costs associated with branch offices. Furthermore, the invention can provide a better ability to prevent fraudulent transactions. The financial institution can be a member or subscriber of a service providing a shared location network. Furthermore, these institutions can operate without their employees at these sites.
