PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve supplying of engine combustion air. SOLUTION: This structure comprises an engine air intake duct 16 opened penetrating a fire wall 20 of an automobile 10. Atmospheric air is first sucked through filter media 42, 44 inside a trunk of the automobile by continuously introducing clean chamber 26 air into a chamber 18 via a filter structure inside the trunk 30 for generating chamber air 26 and then the air 26 is sucked through a hole of the fire wall 20 for being used as the combustion air. An additional combustion air filter 60 arranged inside the chamber 18 may be mounted for filtering air inside the chamber before used as the combustion air. Available space for an engine section 22 can be increased since an air filter is removed from the engine section.
