An electronic control device 40 for an internal combustion engine 10 effects correction of a delay of an ignition timing during intake stroke injection for a given period starting from a switching time and effects correction of a decrease of a fuel injection amount during intake stroke injection. The electronic control device 40 executes correction of a delay of an ignition timing and correction of a decrease of a fuel injection amount on a condition that the number of fuel injection times during compression stroke injection exceeds the given number of times and an intake air amount integration value is below a given amount.
