<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heater capable of preventing the overheat of side plates and performing induction heating with high efficiency even without forming any recess on the pair of side plates to support a semi-open saddle type or a semi-open hairpin type induction heating coil when a narrow part is subjected to the induction heating. SOLUTION: Connection conductors 5a and 5b of the semi-open saddle type induction heating coil 3 disposed between the pair of side plates 7a and 7b, and lead conductors 6a and 6b for power supply are magnetically blocked by magnetic members (for example, silicon steel plates 41 and 42).</p> |
