PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for taking out a molded product, capable of easily taking out even the molded product having a large dimension in the up and down direction thereof while suppressing an increase in the height from the surface of a floor, on which a molding machine is arranged, to the top of a molded product taking-out device. SOLUTION: The molded product taking-out device is equipped with a sideway frame 4, a drawing-out frame 5 and a head lift unit 7 provided with a resin molded product grasping head 6 raised and lowered and freely reversed to a vertical resin molded product grasping posture and a horizontal resin molded product releasing posture and mounted on the fixed platen 2 of the resin molding machine. This molded product taking-out device is used to grasp the resin molded product 8 in the vicinity of the lower end position P thereof by the resin molded product grasping head 6 held to the vertical molded product grasping posture to take the same out of a mold.
